High quality, exquisite details, substantive content, enjoyable to read
What a lovely creation. That is how I describe this book. First, it is visually stunning. I cannot imagine owning this in a digital version. If nothing else, the cover and pages are beautiful to look at with the watercolors of wildflowers. I lived in CO for ten years and I understand how beautiful these wildflowers are. The illustrations flow tastefully across the pages. It is physically a high quality creation. The pages are hefty, their edges colored. I am glad there is not a paperback version of this available. It would taint the beauty of the book.For that alone the book is worth the price. But the author has taken this a step further. The meditations she has written are exquisite. There is not a day that I read one that I cannot apply it to my life. It hits on all the big issues I have faced and continue to face. No judgments. No preaching. Just exhortations, encouragement, and thought-provoking ideas. There is a tenderness to this book that oozes off each page. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ you will not help but be uplifted by its contents.Thank you Ruth Chou Simons for this gift to us all.
