JUST What I Needed…
I looked forward to receiving this book. Not sure why, it was just a feeling.A feeling it was something I needed in my life. That feeling was so very right. It was delivered on April 14.And that was the first day I fell in love with the writings in this book.April 14th.The one minute topic was about MATERIALISM. How ironic.NOT a scolding about wanting ‘stuff’.No, it was a to-the-point look at how we tend to let our quest for wealth, and things, prevent us from looking at the riches we actually have in our lives. And how spiritual investments pay off so much more in so many ways.I was drawn in by those brief sentences. It made sense and gave me a feeling of, well, relief.AS I sat down to write this review, I first read today’s devotional. As I enjoyed a fresh brewed cup of lemon ginger tea.Today’s topic was about PANIC.Boy, I think we ALL need to read this one.I really needed to read this one. The line that resonates with me, and comforts me?’A key to success in all of life – and especially when facing challenges – is to give things over to God that are out of your control’.Amen to that. This book has become an instant keepsake for me. I already cherish it.In addition to the inspirational content within its pages, the book itself is a treasure.Beautifully crafted with a handsome stitched leather cover (The listing says it is Faux Leather, but it feels real).A stitched label prominently displaying the book’s title. Each page a fine paper with a nice feel to the touch.VERY easy to read print, in a soothing font with coordinating colors in gold foil stamping that just fit the phrases. And a nice ribbon bookmark to guide you to your next day’s reading.365 days of devotionals in a pocket sized easy to carry book.I now look forward to starting each day, with this book. Even though I had to start off all the way into April.Just for grins, I looked at what I can expect to read come January 1st.That topic?FRESH START.I’ll certainly look forward to that…

A simple and solid way to start your morning
This is a really well done devotional for guys who want something quick to start the day off with. I know a lot of devotionals can feel like too much work first thing in the morning, especially when you are barely awake and just trying to get your coffee. But this one gets it right. It is not too wordy at all. Each day gives you just enough to read and think about without making your brain work too hard before it is ready. That matters more than people realize. You get a Bible verse, a short thought, and a little space to write if you want to. It takes about a minute, like the title says, but that minute really helps you get into the right frame of mind before the chaos of the day kicks in.The book itself is also very nice quality. The cover is a soft leather material that feels good in your hands, and it looks sharp sitting on a nightstand or desk. It is a premium hardcover, so it will hold up fine through the whole year. For something you will pick up every single morning, you want it to feel good and not fall apart. This one checks both boxes. If you are a man looking for an easy, no pressure way to add a little prayer and Bible time into your mornings, this is a great choice. It does exactly what it promises and does it well. Simple as that.

A Solid Daily Habit Starter
I do a morning devotional before the kid is up and the noise of the day starts. This one is well-built — real leather feel on the cover, lay-flat binding, paper that doesn’t bleed through if you take notes. The one-minute format actually works for guys who say they ‘don’t have time’ for a long study. Bible verses are paired well with each day’s reading. No fluff, no theological agenda pushing you one way or another. All God. Easy recommendation.

Nice leather cover on this and it’s well thought out.
Picked this up for my son who actually does a podcast of daily devotionals and I thought this might inspire him. It’s good, high quality. The cover is actually leather, not pu leather, and the spine handles use.The messages are well thought out with “daily encouragement and spiritual support.”The size is great because it’s just easy to handle and doesn’t take up too much space.Daily devotionals always make a perfect gift for your Christian friend, father, brother, son.. whatever the case may be.The price is right. It’s a good deal.
