Truly a book with hope for the heart!
I happen to believe that anything by June Hunt is tremendous, this one not being the exception. She always points the person back to God and back to the infallible Word of God. I have just come across this author recently and I really like her balanced and loving approach. There are a lot of Unbalanced counseling centers in our country not based on scripture, so it is refreshing to come across her material which is so biblically based. I wish I would have had some of these insights earlier in my life, but inadvertently the Holy Spirit led me to much healing from my past through the scriptures. I can relate to many of the incidences in her books and in this one, she brings out time and time again that our self worth is not based on what people say, not based on what we achieve but based on how God sees us when we have been redeemed by Jesus Christ. Would highly recommend this book to anyone struggling in this area.
