A Perfect Gift for the Right Receivers
I ordered this rosary keep-sake for my infant niece who’s scheduled for her baptism in a few weeks. My months-old niece is of course too young to know of or appreciate such things but its a very appropriate gift to her parents on her behalf for whom this ritual is important and meaningful. The best gifts in my view are those that show the giver’s respect and sensitivity to the receiver’s values, tastes, and preferences even when and perhaps especially when those my not be identical to those of the giver. This rosary and box meet those criteria perfectly and was recognized as such by the little girl’s parents. This in turn gave me great satisfaction as should be the case with any act of giving. This is a small, inexpensive item, attractive and well-made but the graciousness with which it was received is priceless.
