Twelve Extraordinary Women novel
Love love this book. I read “Twelve Ordinary Men” by the same author John MacArthur. After someone recommended that book I was excited when this book “Twelve Extraordinary Women” came out. I am almost all the way through the book and have not been able to put it down. Lots of highlighting. Amazon has recommended additional books in the same genre and I have put “on hold” one that will be coming out in August. Thanks to Amazon for offering current and new books that are Christian based. Great history on the coming of Jesus.

Great resource for looking into women of the Bible.
There are study questions at the end of the book for each chapter that I didn’t learn about until I finished the last chapter. They help you reflect & apply what you read in each chapter. I love how John chose women that were only mentioned in a few verses in the Bible and created lessons out of their stories. After all they wouldn’t even be mentioned in the Bible unless they were important. Some don’t even have their names mentioned but their stories are. Our ladies Bible study used this book and the fact that it is on Kindle Unlimited makes it so much more affordable for people on a budget. Thank you for making it that way John MacArthur! I couldn’t afford it at first but saved my money up and bought it. I plan on going back to read a few women I missed reading about because I missed those weeks of Bible study. I highly recommend this book for a deeper understanding of these 12 women of the Bible.

Wonderful book
Still reading it, but what a great book. So full of knowledge in getting to know these strong women. It would be great as a study group book for 12 weeks. I find myself wanting to share with others what I learned about each woman. The cheaper if Eve is about 13 pages. Love it!!

I did not feel this was as in depth as 12 OM, but some of the women in this book i would struggle to produce a chapter on as there isnt much with regard to them in scripture. I dod learn so much and it is always good to look at character studies with relation to biblical history.I would reccomment this book for anyone, i origonaly bought this for my wife and we were both challenged by hannah.The study guide is so helpful if you were to use this as a group study.
