I love this book!
I haven’t played flute since I was much younger and thought I’d try to pick it up again. I love this book because it’s easy enough for a beginner to read and feel like they are moving forward rather than just playing basic scales in the instruction books. I LOVE that it comes with a CD that contains a demo of how the song should sound and another play along option. It makes playing so much easier, especially if you are not familiar with a song. Some I knew but some I haven’t heard before. I will definitely buy more books from this series when I’m ready to move on.

Pretty nice stuff!
A couple of these were arranged kind of weird if you know the original, but most of them were quite nice. (Even the weird ones weren’t necessarily bad, just kind of weird.) The accompaniments were adequate on all of them, and actually really nice on a few. (Not just a rehashing of what’s on the radio [i.e., boring], but not changed up so they wouldn’t be recognized.) I don’t think this is going to take over as my favorite book to play out of at church, but it has some really nice tunes to add to my repertoire.

Kind of cheesy but good for the right audience
Picked the book up to expand my repertoire, they’re kind of cheesy arrangements but if that’s what people want to hear, they’ll eat it up. Pieces are all fairly easy to play, nothing with more than 2 sharps or flats. Does come with backing tracks you can use for performing and tracks for practicing. These are available to download using the code in the book. One example, Lord I Lift Your Name On High was not quite what I expected. It’s got a “Latin, salsa style” sound that isn’t like any version of the song I’ve heard so I wouldn’t be able to use it for my church.

Strike while the iron is hot
Got this for a budding clarinetist. Hoping she’ll surprise her congregation bursting on the scene with a prepared solo! I especially like that there’s a DVD. You can play along with the clarinet, then once you have it down, you can play with the accompaniment alone. The flexibility was especially important when the pandemic limited actual teacher contact

Lots of repetition
Very repetitive melodies. Not very creative.

My grandson wanted a good Praise & Worship song book for playing Clarinet
Sometimes it is challenging to find exactly what you’re looking for. My grandson wanted a good Praise & Worship song book for playing Clarinet. He was overjoyed with this book. Just perfect! Thank you much and your prompt delivery in a tight timeframe for Christmas was just great!

Simple Church music, CD accompany is included
This is a nice book, bought to play on EWI in Bb mode or my daughter with clarinet. Another reviewer said there was no accompany CD. I took a chance, and she was wrong.

Pleased with this play along. Good pitch and lively backing. Some familiar songs with the opportunity to learn a few new ones. The words to the songs can be found elsewhere although would have preferred to have these available. Would like also to be able to buy 2nd parts or parts for other instruments. Does anyone out there know of publications. This is excellent those as it makes this accessible and affordable. Thankyou

No lyrics to follow with music, so not much personal worship value. Written in keys different from the originally written songs so playing along with others is made difficult. No interesting fills or variations, just melody…kinda boring.

Really happy to find the cd has 2 versions of each song..1 playing with the flute..the other as an accompliment..

Good arrangements of well known songs , but the CD is faulty and skips. Providing this can be sorted, I wouldn’t let it out buyers off as it is a good book.

Excellent, thank you.
