Great study Bible.
So this is a NSV Bible, chronically arranged. Easy to read with large margins to make notes. Author shares great insights that are helpful and easily understood. This makes reading the Bible in a year very achievable and insightful. Enjoy! As for missing certain verses, like one person noted:Matthew 17:21 is not included in major Bible versions. The passage is not included in more recent Bible versions. Here are some of them: American Standard Version (ASV), Contemporary English Version (CEV), English Standard Version (ESV), Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB), New Century Version (NCV), New International Version (NIV), the New Living Translation (NLT) and the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV). The verse is not included in the newer Bibles because the older and better manuscripts of Matthew do not include it. The translators of the older Bibles were not always as careful in the selection of the manuscripts they used. Apparently in the process of copying the manuscripts, someone at a much later date copied the verse from the Gospel of Mark and added it to the Matthew account. See Mark 9:29.

The ESV Bible + The Bible Recap, all in onebook!
I am so pleased with this Bible that I bought multiples to give as presents for friends and family.Thank you to Tara-Leigh Cobble for this combination of the entire ESV Bible plus The Bible Recap daily Bible book, all in one book! I really appreciate the way TLC broke down the chronological reading plan into chapters, not just into verses, like the other chronological Bible I have.Update: I’m10 days in and so please with this Bible! I also bought it on Kindle for when reading from a book isn’t an option due to lighting or whatever. I read in the morning and at night too, before I go to sleep. The recaps make everything much more enjoyable for me because TLC always mentions something about the Bible text that I hadn’t thought of.Get this Bible if you’d like a good chronological reading plan!

Bible In a Year is Awesome
I started this on New Years! It’s so easy to follow as it tells you what day you’re on. You can start any date ! Great quality and enjoying reading the Bible

Great Bible for daily reading & understanding
This is great, I love that it is chronological and that the psalms are alongside the story of David when relevant. The ribbon is high quality and the paper is opaque and easy to read. I have a hard time putting the bible down once I start reading so the reading plan has been extremely helpful for daily reading. There is also a podcast to go along with the reading plan. Such a great resource for people who have a hard time understanding the Bible.

Witt, History, and the Word of God!!
This stroll through the bible is amazing! I love Ms Cobbles cerebral but grounded analysis of each lesson. I stink’en LOVE her witty comments throughout the book. I believe her personality really helps convey Gods message. I’ve been referring anyone I can to this devotional. My daughter is on day 30 and loves it too. I would and do highly recommend this book, or the Bible app Plan, to anyone.

Love love love
Love the Bible Recap. The notes enlighten the most mundane scriptures by setting the stage, explaining customs of the times and the importance of information that seemingly holds no relevance in today’s application.

Pros and Cons
I like the chronological order perspective. The recap is very helpful, although I could do without some of the attempted “hip/humorous” references to modern culture. The pages are very thin,. Like the size and blue color of the cover. All in a decent bible to add to my collection.

Very nice and easy to follow.
I started this reading plan Jan 1 2026. Then I found this Bible. Now as I listen to the chapters, I can follow along. It follows the same order and that is helpful. It is in ESV which matches the program. But one could enjoy this Bible as a stand alone Bible. After each days reading, it has a recap/ commentary by Tara Leigh Cobble.

Loving the TBR! It’s my husband and I’s first round through, we’ve tried a few different yearly Bible reading plans and we really enjoy the recap at the end for understanding and the God shot to know God’s character.

The Bible is excellent. Helpful notes. Great format. The jacket and the book itself were slightly damaged…
