Absolutely beautiful handcrafted communion cup and saucer set
This communion cup is so amazingly well crafted and beautiful. It is a wonderful display piece and serves as a great conversation piece. I get a lot of compliments on how beautiful it is. This is hand-carved, which is just astonishing because it is so perfect and is utterly flawless. The wood grain is stunning. It’s a deep reddish wood, like a dark cherry wood, with the most beautiful, natural wood grain. The saucer is equally as beautiful and matches perfectly. The size is excellent. It’s not super tiny but not so big and large that it is awkward to handle or display.The wood is finished, but it’s a nice satin finish rather than a super shiny finish that makes the wood look unauthentic. The finish makes the wood totally sturdy, durable, and strong. This is not something that will shatter or even crack or chip if it accidentally gets dropped or knocked over. It is very, very lightweight. It weighs almost nothing, which was surprising to me because it’s so durable and well-made. The lightweight nature of this set does not make it flimsy or overly fragile.This communion cup and matching saucer is simply gorgeous. It makes a beautiful home decor item but is also completely functional and useful. The wood grain, the natural wood color, and the hand carving is reminiscent of the most fantastic, amazing craftsmanship. This set is a fantastic value and well worth the investment because it’s so beautiful and so well-made. Highly recommend. Makes a good gift, too!

Beautiful, tiny communion cup!
This communion chalice is gorgeous, but it is tiny. You really have to go by the descriptions on these things because pictures will throw you off. This cup is exactly the dimensions in the description. It’s about 5 inches high and 2.5 inches wide, so pretty tiny for a communion cup. I think it’s meant to be more of a personal communion cup. The saucer is about 4 inches in diameter. It’s extremely lightweight and will blow away in the wind easily. The quality is great. The wood is gorgeous. The lip of the cup is smooth, so you won’t catch your lip on it. It has a very smooth finish all around. The saucer is smooth, and the cup fits perfectly on it with no wobbling, however, the wood is finished all over which makes it a bit slippery. I think it could be improved by placing a silicone ring at the bottom of the cup and at the bottom of the saucer to prevent it from sliding around. As it’s designed currently, I can foresee some spilled juice happening. It’s easy to clean by hand with soap and water. It shouldn’t be put in the dishwasher, and liquids shouldn’t be left inside for an extended period of time.

It looks beautiful, nice grain, matching knots on either side. But it has a sharp lip along one edge, being half the width of the opposing side: pictured. There are some grain-burrs along the outside: could have been better sanded before stained. The stain is deep, dark, nice.It does not fit into the hole in the plate (which it looks like it was supposed to, pictured): causes it to wobble and slide around, rattles as you walk by. The plate cannot be used well as a cover, no matter which way faces up: slides around, falls off.The goblet is smaller than I expected, less than I take in a single drink (of water). I know, it’s not for chugging, but I typically envision the communion goblets being bigger: this would have to be refilled constantly.Overall– Three Stars: pay closer attention to the consistency of wood-thickness/sharpness around the lip, the plate upon which it sits should nestle better together.

Beautifully Crafted For Any Roman Catholic Home!
This handmade wooden communion chalice is beautifully crafted and a great reminder and symbol of the Roman Catholic faith! I cannot attest to this, but it is supposed to be unbreakable. I am using this for display in my hutch, as it is a beautiful symbol and daily reminder of my families’s faith and devotion to the Lord. It is certainly an excellent value for the price point. The wood is heavy and I believe it would hold up to use overtime. However, I find it too beautiful to test the durability. It is slightly smaller than size, but perfect for doing communion at home. This is wonderful for celebrating communion at home with your priest. I would not recommend it for use in a large church, as the size is intended more for personal or family use. I do certainly recommend this for use at home or to display. The quality is phenomenal and I am absolutely blown away. Even my priest was stunned at the quality of this holy communion chalice.

Beautiful Communion set, but mind the dimensions
Read Before Buying!In the listing photos, the chalice looks like a full-sized liturgical vessel you’d see at Sunday Mass. In reality, it is much more “handheld” and petite.Check the actual measurements in the description before you buy so you aren’t surprised when a smaller box arrives. It’s still perfectly functional and beautiful, but it’s definitely more “intimate chapel” than “Saint Peter’s Basilica.”The craftsmanship of this set is genuinely stunning. I love the wood grain and subtle golden shimmer of the finish (I tried to capture that in thr images, hopefully it comes through). It’s smooth to the touch, feels sturdy with a nice weight, and the tray is perfectly recessed. It doesn’t feel like a cheap souvenir; it feels like a sacred object. It’s a beautiful addition to my daily devotions. Truly lovely.
