I ordered this Evelyni Sterling Silver Celtic Cross Necklace because I’ve been looking for a Celtic cross that reflects both my heritage and my Christian faith in Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross to save us from our sins (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 10:9).* Style & Appearance: The cross design is beautiful and meaningful. The Celtic knotwork is carefully shaped and gives the piece a sense of continuity and symbolism of eternity (eternal life through faith in Jesus). The cubic zirconias are small but bright, adding just enough sparkle without taking away from the simplicity of the design.* Material & Finish: The sterling silver is very pretty and looks like genuine silver. It has the hallmark S925 stamp in several spots, confirming that it’s solid sterling and not plated. The finish is polished but not overly shiny.* Craftsmanship: The silverwork is well-molded and detailed. Each knot is smooth and even, and the stones are neatly set in place with no rough or sharp edges. It feels well made, not flimsy or hollow.* Chain & Fit: The chain is a good weight and doesn’t feel fragile. I like that it’s 20 inches long. It falls below the collarbone and could be layered nicely with shorter necklaces. It doesn’t tangle easily. It also has a secure clasp that’s simple to open and close, but you can always add a magnetic clasp to make it even easier.* Comfort: It’s lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The silver doesn’t irritate my skin, which is a plus for anyone who’s sensitive to metals.* Packaging: The necklace arrives in a small gift box. The box itself is sturdy and suitable for gifting, though the printed message inside wasn’t really my cup of tea.* Versatility: This cross is easy to wear anywhere, really, such as casual clothes, evening dresses or Sunday dresses.* Value for the Cost: At 18.99 at the time I’m writing this, this necklace is an excellent value. This is a lovely, tasteful sterling silver cross necklace! I really love its contemporary, flowing design. All parts of the necklace are hallmarked as real sterling: the cross pendant itself, the bail, and the adjustable chain. The necklace comes with a velvet-lined gift box, but please make sure you read the sentiment printed on the enclosed card before gifting this, just to be sure that the sentiment is appropriate for the recipient. It reads: ” I will always cherish you and love you, because you are the most beautiful miracle in my life.” The chain included with the cross is very thin and fine, so I might replace it with something sturdier, but otherwise, I’m very happy with this cross necklace.
