Feeling stretched too thin? You’re not alone—and you’re not failing.
In a world that applauds hustle and punishes rest, millions of women are stuck in cycles of stress, burnout, and emotional depletion. Reset for Women is a practical Christian self-care guide for women who want to reclaim their health, their peace, and their God-given worth without abandoning their faith or responsibilities.
The gap between what it’s really like to be a woman and what people (including ourselves) expect women to be is a primary cause of burnout and stress. We exhaust ourselves trying to close the space between the two.
📌 Designed for professional women, busy moms, caregivers, and leaders, this book cuts through the fluff and delivers real, science-backed strategies for creating balance in a life that won’t slow down—while grounding your wellbeing in faith.
Inside, you’ll discover how to:
✅ Recognize early signs of chronic stress and burnout before they become health crises
✅ Set boundaries with grace and clarity (without the guilt)
✅ Build sustainable self-care rhythms—even on your most chaotic days
✅ Connect your physical health with your spiritual vitality
✅ Let go of perfectionism and reclaim your God-given self-worth

Faith-Filled Self-Care for the Busy Overwhelmed Mom
Reset for Women is a wonderful guide for overworked, stressed, and burned-out moms who are seeking balance in their daily lives. It beautifully combines faith-based wisdom with practical, science-backed strategies to help restore peace and well-being. I especially appreciate how it encourages us to seek God’s guidance as we make wise choices to care for ourselves; keeping mind, body, spirit, and soul in harmony. A much-needed resource for women who want to live with more balance, peace, and purpose.

A breath of fresh air for every overwhelmed woman
This book could not have come at a better time. Reset for Women is equal parts practical, faith-filled, and deeply compassionate. Caroline Laredo doesn’t just tell us to “slow down” or “self-care more” (as if that’s realistic when you’re juggling work, family, caregiving, and endless expectations). Instead, she offers real strategies—grounded in science and anchored in faith—that make resetting feel doable, even on the busiest days. What I loved most is that she doesn’t pile on more guilt or impossible to-do lists. Instead, she gives language for what so many of us feel but can’t articulate: the constant stretch between who we are and who we’re expected to be. Her chapters on boundaries, sustainable rhythms, and connecting physical health to spiritual vitality were both convicting and freeing. I’ve already started applying some of the tools, and the difference in my peace and energy is noticeable. If you’ve been running on empty, feeling burned out, or wondering if you’re failing—you need this reset. Highly recommend.

A Faith based guide to recognizing burn-out, giving yourself grace, and finding peace in your life.
I enjoyed this book. The writing was practical, science-based, and faith-based. I loved the pearls of prayer moments and all the tools provided for setting boundaries, and giving yourself grace and peace in your day. They were very inspirational, and I intend to use them. An excellent book for anyone who feels stressed, too busy, or exhausted with their life schedule.

An artful blend of faith and science as practical as it is inspirational.
Caroline’s faith-based guide for self-care is as inspirational as it is practical. She artfully combines faith and science clearly and straightforwardly to give readers a realistic and practical method to achieve the goal of sustainable self-care within a faith-based context. I really appreciate the many ways she details for readers how to practice the concepts she is sharing. Well done! Looking forward to the expansion of the series for men in particular. Thank you for your thoughtful work, Caroline! Keep it up!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a straightforward book, written with practical, easy-to-use tips. It emphasizes the importance of taking care of oneself, essentially promoting self-love. That time when you sip your coffee in between chores”, It’s good to know it’s a good thing to take a break and relax. I’m the person who keeps busy multitasking and eats last, if at all, while taking care of everyone. This book will teach you that it’s good to relax. I loved it when it says sip your coffee and say a word of prayer. However, I would love it to have more biblical references, as it’s faith-based. I would have enjoyed it more if it had allowed me to open my bible to enhance my faith in the process, hence a four from it.
