A study, solid journaling Bible option which will appeal to men and women alike.
OVERVIEW:This Bible is heavy duty. Not only does it feel solid and well-made, it is a solid option for many pages of journaling in whatever form you choose to do. This version states it is large print, but the print is not as large as I’ve seen in books labeled this way. Instead, it is a larger print than many Bibles have today without being overly large.The pages are cream colored which is a nice touch and is preferable to me over white pages. These are a bit more yellow than my liking, but the hue makes it pretty easy on the eyes overall. Each page includes a single column of lines for journaling.As this is a large print book, it is pretty thick and heavy. It may not be your every day choice to sling into a bag, but it would make a great option for home use.FEATURES:There are limited additional features in this Bible, but the ones chosen are appropriate in keeping it simple yet stylish. As thick as this book is, I can’t imagine adding extra pages for notes, maps, or indexes. Rather, the publisher stuck to the main intent of this version which is to “Reflect, Journal, or Create Art Next to Your Favorite Verses”.One simple feature, which does not add thickness, is red lettering for the words spoken by Jesus. As I mentioned, color helps me sort out ideas and concepts. i love the idea of seeing Jesus’s words stand out this way.An elastic band and a ribbon bookmark and included, as well as a few pages of notes only at the very back.These options round out this Bible as suited wonderfully for it’s purpose.IN SUMMARY:I am grateful for Thomas Nelson publishing quality Journaling Bible options. Each one is a lovely option for anyone ready to explore God’s Word in a fresh way. Excellent for Bibles!
I love the space on the side for notes 🙂 I use 005 pens & there is so much room to write everything. I use these for my Bible & they do not bleed through the paper! 🙌🏼 I have recommended these to a friend, I may grab her a pack soon as well because these pens are magnificent on Bible pages 😊

Easy to read
This Bible looks a bit bulky, for verily it is fat. But the print is larger than my other Bibles, but not GIANT PRINT. The notes at the bottom of the page are readable also. There is plenty of journaling room in the margins. My eyes are not as good as they used to be and my handwriting is not as small as it used to be. This Bible fits the bill for my new stage of life.

It’s a really beautiful Bible. It’s kinda heavy and might need to be propped up. It does bleed a little and the font is the perfect size for me. It’s not the typical size in other Bibles. Seems sturdy so far

Excellent Bible makes spending time in the Word easy
This is the Large Print Journal the Word Bible – I’d ordered a smaller print one by mistake and was tempted to keep it just so I could start journaling, but I sent it back and got one more compatible with my vision, and I’m so grateful I did. I can easily read the Scriptures and take notes or do something creative in the two-inch margin on the side. The pages are kinda creamy-colored, which I wouldn’t have chosen had I known there was an option for white pages, but it’s not turning out to be that big of a deal. I went back and forth between this Bible and an interleaf Bible. I’m happy with my purchase AND I’ll bet my next one will be interleaved! Creators gotta create!

Great Bible, just very heavy!
This journaling Bible is awesome as there is a lot of space in the margins to make notes. The page thickness is quite nice so there isn’t much bleed through. I only use it at home because it’s about 3lb in weight. Overall it’s a great Bible and I’m happy to use this in my Bible study.

This bible is different than the one I had, however I do like it. I like that it has plenty of space on the sides of the pages for my comments. Nice size print, red letters in the N.T. Very nice journal bible.
