A great price on a portable study bible.
I saw this bible on a You Tube bible reviewer’s channel. So, I bought this one. I do recommend it! But, for the cost, you do get what you pay for. Folks, this is a small font, and there is some page bleed through. A larger NIV study bible has more in depth notes, of course. I feel this bible is a competitor, if you will, to the ESV Concise Study Bible. Both are in the same price point. The font for the ESV Concise Study bible is smaller, but, the paper is a bit more stout.But, this bible is great, I often pick it up and start reading where it opens to. The NIV is very readable as well as the notes that are provided too. I don’t think they offer a hardback cover or more traditional bible cover yet, but my bet is that it is coming. It’s a great launch for this bible and it certainly deserves more styes, covers, colors, and binding option in the future. You can’t beat the price and the quality of information this little bible packs. Hope this helps.

Readable text size. Has notes at the bottom and cross reference verses. Beginning of each chapters there’s an introduction and history of the book. Jesus’ words are in red. Doesn’t come with bible tabs, I bought those separate on S.h.e.i.nI’d advise covering in paper wrap and or plastic wrap to protect the outer covers coz it’s paper back

Great first bible
I bought this when we first started reading the Word. It is well made and has lasted over a year of daily use. I did buy a cover for it to make it a little more presentable but it’s been great and the study notes help you understand what you’re reading. Great purchase for the price

Wonderful for a novice
This Bible is great for someone who is just beginning to read the Bible. It really helps to give a true understanding, and hold your interest. I’m not getting bogged down by the language. It’s a good size, the type is large enough for me, and I’m over 65. Also, it’s a great value for the money. The explanations at the bottom of each page are really helpful. I love this book… You can’t go wrong.

Pleasantly surprised for the price! The pages are easy to read edge to edge, and not too thin to be distracted by transparency. I bought this for a friend who doesn’t have a Bible, so it’s not as in-depth as my study bible, but it still helps with basic introductions and cross-references. I think I’m going to buy another one so I have it ready to gift to curious minds.

I am new to faith and have loved being able to study the Bible properly with the help of this study Bible. Its prefacing of Bible teachings at the start as well as letting the reader know of context has really made it a more enjoyable experience. I’m grateful that they included this at the start of the scripture, as I have always felt I needed to know more about HOW to read the Bible! Other than that, the pages are great, thin but good quality, and the footnotes are really helpful for those who are new to Christian scripture.

This is a No Frills study Bible.I like the paper. Red letter is a good feature.The binding is simple but not cheap.All in all feel good about it.Amazon owes me $38.84.I was charged for a cancelled item.Please address this ASAP. Thanks.
