I absolutely loved opening my gift box!
Each item inside holds a special meaning, and I could feel the care behind every detail. The journal for thoughts and prayers is one of my favorite parts — it has plenty of pages, which I truly appreciate since I love to write. The quality of every item is outstanding. I highly recommend it!

Makes a great gift just inspect before gifting
This is a really nice set. It comes in a nice box and makes a great gift to any christian female but particularly for adolescents and teenagers. Everything in the box is just how they picture and describe them. The sizes and colors are accurate and I thought the quality of everything was good and the price at $35 is reasonable for how many items you get since usually christian stuff is always a bit pricier.I read one review where someone mentions not being sure why there is cap on the pencil, well I can answer that. It is to prevent the pencil from rolling around in the box and marking up the tote bag. However this fails if it is either not put on, not put on tightly or falls off anyway. In the one I received the cap was off and pencil marks were all over the tote bag. I requested a replacement and same thing, cap off and pencil marks all over the tote bag. I guess I am the only unlucky one so far. Seems really hard to believe no one else has had this issue and I got it twice. I was very annoyed and disappointed by this and wanted to give this item a much lower rating but if this issue can be prevented and it can be, as it’s a simple fix, either protect the tote bag in plastic or wrap the pencil in plastic or just leave the pencil out. It’s not really needed. I’d rather have an unstained bag than a cheap pencil. I included pics and one of the inside of the box showing how I believe it’s all marks from the pencil.

No depth to this, whatsoever…
I usually stay away from stuff like this but had a friend in mind whom I thought might appreciate this so I thought I would give it a go. I am kind of sorry I did. I feel like many of us say yes, something is really good or great, just because it is Christian, when it really isn’t (think of how many Christian movies you have seen with great reviews and they were, well, pretty terrible). While I want to support things that should be supportedI am not going to sugar coat them when they really aren’t that great, and I think that this is most definitely one of those not that great things. The quality is mixed, much of it being good. The water bottle’s coating has some dings in it but is otherwise good. For the most part it seems like your average water bottle of that type. The design is placed on evenly. The strangest thing about it is the inside has an oily coating – I wanted to see how thick the bottle was and when I touched the inside, I was sorry I did – if you do get this for someone, or for yourself, it definitely needs to be cleaned with hot soapy water a few times (maybe even with vinegar) before you use it. It’s not a thick coating, but it’s definitely there and definitely doesn’t belong. The pink pencil with a cap is very much on the cheap side (down to the eraser) and the cap doesn’t fit the pencil – it doesn’t seem to be made for it, and keeps popping off. There is no engraving of any kind and comes off as just being thrown in as a filler instead of actually being useful. The rest of the set looks to be of very good quality, just corny and super sugar coated. The verses given are coffee mug verses with the loosest translation there is (for the most part) and include feel good about yourself sayings or quotations on the back of them like “She thought she could so she did” or “You did great”. They are like a deck of cards and of the same quality. The bag that it comes with is very heavy and well made but doesn’t go along with the Daughter of the King the…no…instead it says “Blessings carrier”. While the bag is useful, I would never carry something around with a saying like that on it. It’s more of an embarrassment, instead of a witness or conversation starter. It would have been nice if the Daughter of the King sentiment was on all the included items however it is not. The colors are pretty, and many will like the design, but it comes off (to me) as more of a sugary sweet, full of non convicting, you are the best type quotations and non-thought provoking fluff. Please don’t get me wrong, everyone loves something encouraging, but this is more of You go girl, you are the best and everything you do is fantastic type of a gift set. We need encouragement, yes, but we need real (powerful) truth, real hope, and the real Christ (not “God will bless everything you do because you’re awesome). Women are smart – we need meat, not (fake) pancake syrup. We need depth and this really lacks it.
