This is a gift I'm giving to someone soon, but I went ahead and inspected it. Arrives in a nice box suitable for gifting, has a cleaning cloth inside. It's not brassy; I put it next to some genuine 18K jewelry I own, and it's the same color. So yes, it's a little more "yellow" than 14K gold. I got the 22" length, it's a good size for men with necks and the overall width is substantial and it should be very strong and durable. Nice lobster claw clasp. Very pleased with this for the price. It's stainless steel so it should last quite awhile before the plating eventually wears off. I personally have some gold plated stainless I purchased over 10 years ago and it still looks like new since I take good care of my jewelry items.

My 7 year old son wanted a cold chain cross for
Christmas. He’s so rough and tough I was so scared to get him an expensive one, I came across this one on my Amazon home page. He also has sensitive skin, he’s worn it almost everyday since Christmas and hasn’t gotten red from it, hasn’t lost it, but has thrown it once or twice or is durable. It’s cheap great quality and really nice doesn’t look cheap. I would buy it again.
