Once again, Max has scored a home run with what he does best! He tells stories that actually tell and illustrate the real story! Several of these stories brought tears to my eyes followed by warmth in my heart.The end of each story includes Questions for Reflection. I must admit that this was the difficult part of the book for me. I suppose I wanted to read about others’ experiences but not analyze my self and my needs in drawing closer to God. Indeed, this is the very reason for the book, and I am better for it.Thank you, Max Lucado!

Wonderful stories told in Max’s unmatchable way: down to earth as though he’s sitting beside you on the front porch. He doesn’t use fancy words or talk down to his listeners – he just tells the stories & then leads to the obvious conclusion. Another gold star book!
