If you saw my previous post, I didn’t praise it enough.
My prayer partner and I are so impressed with this and blessed by this book that we’re reading it AGAIN this year. And probably the next as well. We take turns reading it to each other and then rave about it at the end of reading and sharing. We are so taken by the fact that the author focuses on our relationship with God as spoken through scripture, and he doesn’t distract us from God’s Word with current cultural or social phrases. It is a quick read which leaves us time to talk about the one theme of the day. It is easy to stay focused on the principle of each entry. We are so impressed that we buy them by the dozen and it has become a special part of our Christian growth to share them spontaneously. It is a gift that rewards us when we give it — isn’t that what our faith is about? Buy at least two or you’ll give away the one you bought for yourself.
