This review is for a .925 solid sterling silver cross necklace, 26 inches in length. I received mine today, and I have to say I’m impressed with the quality especially for an Amazon purchase. I have not always had luck with Amazon jewelry purchases, the primary problem being that many things are advertised as .925 sterling that are in the end, plated at best. I’m happy to say that this looks like actual silver, and more importantly, tests as sterling silver.
This is definitely a unisex piece of jewelry, and suitable for either men or women. It features a 26 inch solid curb chain, which is in my opinion almost a perfect length for most wearers. The chain is sturdy and substantial, and is definitely not going to break easily with daily wear. As I tend to wear jewelry like this every day and never remove it, that is a huge factor of likability for me. This one can definitely stand up to an infinite amount of daily wear and never break I feel.
It isn’t delicate, but it’s not overly bulky or masculine either. It’s simple and understated and really just the perfect size for making it suitable for either a man or a woman. It’s featuresa lobster claw clasp, which is also quite sturdy and fastens easily, but isstrong enough not to just randomly come undone. It has a wonderful finish, which is shiny, and polishes up easily. And it comes in a beautiful, above average gift box, so if you’re considering buying this for someone, it is absolutely perfect for giftgiving.
I have had disappointments in buying jewelry on Amazon and wish that all of my experiences could be even half as good as this one was.
