I recently purchased this prayer mat, and I couldn’t be happier. It is “well padded,” and that extra cushion truly makes a difference during prayer. Admittedly, I primarily use this on carpet, but it would be even better appreciated on cold, stone floors. The material feels soft and plush beneath my knees, and the graphic design looks great—rich hues and nice stitching that give it a gift-worthy elegance. While it’s nice and spacious, the larger size and decent padding makes it a bit cumbersome for travel. Overall, the craftsmanship looks good and the graphics are appealing—I’ll definitely be reaching for this blanket every Eid and beyond.

Well-padded, but NOT cotton and NOT handmade as claimed
This prayer rug will absolutely work well for prayer, and its thick padding will be a comfort to those with painful bones. However, the manufacturer makes claims that are patently untrue. There is no fiber content listed on the tag, but this rug is very obviously synthetic (likely polyester) and not cotton as claimed. The rug is also very obviously machine made, not handmade as claimed. The colors are garish. The manufacture was quick and sloppy, with padding bits visible at multiple seams, huge loose stitching at the edges, sloppily doubled-over attached fringe and quilting that is only topstitched and unravels very easily. This is not a high-quality product, but will work for its purpose for at least a little while but not for years. At $25 this is a reasonable value if your expectations are not high.
