The crucifix is a principal symbol for many groups of Christians and one of the most common forms of Crucifixion of the arts. It is especially important in the Latin rite of the Roman Catholic Church which signifies the death of Jesus on the cross. Strictly speaking, to be a crucifix, the cross must be three-dimensional though this distinction is not always observed. Prayer in front of a crucifix, seen as sacramental, is often part of Christian devotion in publicly or privately. The above wooden wall hanging cross is composed from mango timber.
Dimensions – Width – 5.5″ x Height – 9″
Handcrafted from mango timber, the cross has been engraved by rural Indian artisans.
Gracefully carved by these artisans with commendable designs and texture.
It has a phenomenal vintage appeal coming with an alluring pattern on the surface that has been handspun.
The wooden crucifix could fit good at the altar, used as a wall hanging. Likewise for holy events.

I love it!
My Mom had me buy this as a gift to me for Christmas and it is just beautiful! It really looks nice up on my wall and it’s very well made. Its lightweight enough that you can put it up with a thumbtack too.

Darker than the photos
Darker in person and slightly lopsided but still beautiful. The darker color suits my space better anyway so it works out well for me but be aware that there’s variation from the photos. Either way it’s a lovely reminder of my faith and I’m very pleased with it for the price!!
