I love using this prayer journal! I bought one for a friend, recommended it to my church book club, and plan to order more! They are laid out by weeks with an overarching title and really make you think each day! They’re also beautiful. The passages are short enough that a toddler mom can find time to work through them, but long enough that you feel you really get something out of it.

I thought that such a well respected publisher spending good money on beautiful art work and journalling pages would make sure that there was something to meditate and journal on. The devotionals do usually include an interesting point you may not have thought of before, but there is no guidance on how to meditate on the scripture, no questions to get you thinking or ways to enter into the text. Just a devotional and then a whole page on which to write your thoughts, which I found to be not very forthcoming.
