Great Cross to Hang or Use as a Film Prop
I’ll be honest: I’m not Christian. I needed a cross for a movie role in which I played a priest. This looked like the perfect accessory…and it was! It’s a great size to hold in your hand (to frighten away the undead) or tuck into a belt. It’s nicely carved (looks kind of old fashioned, which was perfect for the role), sturdy, and well-made.There’s also a spot on the back where you can hang it with a nail. (Ahh…the irony.)Seriously, whether you want it for religious purposes or as a prop, this is a great little cross. Hopefully I can use it again in another film.

Gave as a housewarming gift
Some lucky friends got bought a house at the lake. We purchased this as a housewarming gift. It was perfect! It went with the decor of the new home, subtle, not flashy. Additionally, I was able to use a sharpie to write a prayer on the back. They were very happy with it!

Beautiful but darker than pictured
This cross is unique and beautiful, but mine is much darker than the product image. I have attached several photos for comparison. The workmanship is very nice, with no flaws or defects. I appreciate that the back is stained and finished as well, with a nice metal cutout for hanging purposes. I took off a star because I did not expect the wood to be so dark and rustic.This company is based in the USA, which is another plus. I am unsure if the product itself is made in the US. The cross was just packaged in a plastic poly bag with a cardboard label stapled up top, no pretty box or any sort of padding. Based on the price I shouldn’t be surprised, I suppose. I’m just glad it wasn’t damaged in transit.Overall a good purchase, but I will be painting it white since it is a baptism gift for a baby girl.

Have been keeping an eye out for a simple wooden cross and this is just what I’ve had in mind. Very nicely carved, stained and assembled—with a functional hanger on back side. There’s nothing negative to say about this beautiful cross 🙂

Size is not consistent
This is the second time I ordered this cross because it’s so beautiful. But the second one is 6 inches and not 8. That was disappointing.
