Flexible spine, generous journaling space, easy to read font!
I bought this Bible over a year ago to use this year in my Bible reading plan so I could write notes in the margins. The only thing I wish is that it was a reference Bible also but I use other study Bibles and add notes in the very generous journaling space! I bought the leather touch over board because I wanted a hardcover for taking to church so I could take notes but I haven’t done that yet. I love the flexibility of the spine. I realize it is just paper but it works for me for writing notes. I typically use my Bibles for my year long reading plan and then use a different Bible the next year. I’m very happy with this Bible!

Simply beautiful
This Bible is gorgeous and the leather is high quality. It definitely feels like a Bible you would use for a very long time. The color changes slightly after some use, however this is what you would expect from genuine leather. I love the addition of the “legacy” aspects of this Bible as well. it adds a nice touch.Something of note, the cover is bendy because it is just leather. So, when you are putting in your bag (if you do that), just be aware that the cover might bend because of the weight of the Bible. But, something in my experience it doesn’t get stuck that way.Also, there is a review that notes that the CSB translation omits Matthew 17:21. If you look at the bottom of the page, there is an * that says some translations include Matthew 17:21 and then they give the verse. So, this translation does not completely omit it at all.

Single Column, Hardcover, & Margin Space!
My previous journaling Bible was running out of space for notes, so I transitioned to this one I’m really excited about. Paid $27 when other Bibles I looked at, that were very similar just a different cover, were twice the price for some reason. I really like the single column and larger margins that I didn’t have before. The pages are also thicker than my previous bible below (which was a smaller esv double column journaling bible from crossway). Notes stay much more organized with single column! That was a must I was looking for.Also, I was looking for a hardcover, because I wanted to use an elastic pencil pouch to keep my pens/highlighters handy (but the elastic pouch doesn’t work well with soft leather or paper covers). I was happy to find this being a hardcover but with a simple-not flashy/stylish-cover. But I can imagine this fake leather overtime will likely chip away like my old bible did, which I don’t mind as the hardcover helps keep the pages more protected in the long term.Only downside for me personally was the lack of any types of study notes or cross references. But I’ll just use my study bible (or research) for that and mainly focus on this journaling bible for jotting down what God is teaching me personally next to each passage or sermon notes.(Side note- I researched bible pens & highlighters and if it helps anyone- I’ve come to really like Midliner Highlighters by Zebra, preferably the soft mild colors, and for a pen I like Pigma Micron 05 0.45mm line. Only used in this new Bible on top in the photo)

Great Bible
Not only is the CSB one of my favorite translations, but the feel of the leather and the ability to journal takes this Bible straight to the top!! I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Bible that will last for quite a while and wants to journal!!

Let me start by saying, this would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for ONE small detail.It’s an amazing quality Bible. It really is and overall I am chuffed to have it.But as you can see from my second picture, the pages are gold lined.Now some people will probably like that, and it’s probably good to keep the Bible in good condition.But the pictures on the site made it look as though there was no gold lining and that WAS one of the reasons I liked the look of this Bible. It was old fashioned but modest.Note to the distributor, please update the images you are using to display it!Thanks for the great product nonetheless!
